Treatment Education

We believe that knowing what to expect from treatment is important. With this in mind, we offer patients a personalised education session to explain what treatment has been recommended, how the treatment works, how treatment will be given, possible side effects and ways to manage these side effects.

Education sessions are usually scheduled prior to treatment, however if this is not possible, education will be provided on the day of treatment.

We encourage patients to bring a family member or support person to both the education session and treatment appointments.
